BLUD RSKK (Regional Public Service Agency of Occupational Health General Hospital) first obtained its Operational License in 2020 as stipulated in the Decree of the Head of the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Agency of Bandung Regency Number: 442/0001-IORSN/II/2020/DPMPTSP concerning the Operational License of the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) of Occupational Health of West Java Province, dated February 26, 2020. This decree also designated BLUD RSKK as a Class D hospital. Furthermore, BLUD RSKK was officially designated to begin implementing the Regional Public Service Agency Financial Management Pattern (PPK-BLUD) starting from April 12, 2023, as stipulated in the Decree of the Governor of West Java Number: 539/Kep.234BUMDINVESADBANG/2023 concerning the Implementation of the Regional Public Service Agency at the Special Organizational Unit of the Regional General Hospital of Occupational Health of West Java Province under the Health Office of the Regional Government of West Java Province.
PT. Jamsostek granted funds to the West Java Provincial Government as part of efforts to improve healthcare services for workers.
PKTK buildings have been constructed in four locations: Bandung, Bogor, Bekasi, and Tangerang.
The building and its facilities were handed over to the Regional Office of the Ministry of Health of West Java Province.
Based on the Decree of the Governor and Head of Regional Level I of West Java Province Number 31 of 1997 concerning the Establishment of the Organization and Work Procedures of the Occupational Health Center, PKTK was transformed into the Occupational Health Center (BKTK).
The Coordinating Minister for National Development Supervision and Planning (Menko Wasbangpan) granted approval for the establishment of Community Occupational Health Centers (BKKM) in Bandung, Bekasi, Bogor, and Tangerang.
A Directive Letter from the Governor of West Java Number 593/516/Huk has been issued to the Head of the West Java Provincial Health Office for the management of the BKKM Bandung asset as the Occupational Health Development Center of West Java Province.
Through West Java Governor Regulation Number 113 of 2009 concerning the Organization and Work Procedures of Technical Implementation Units and Agencies within the West Java Provincial Government, the West Java Provincial Government decided that the BKKM of West Java Province is one of the Occupational Health General Hospitals (RSKK) under the West Java Provincial Health Office.
The Community Occupational Health Center (BKKM) of West Java Province was designated as a BLUD RSKK with a focus on Occupational Health Services in the West Java Provincial Governor Regulation Number 69 of 2017 concerning the Establishment and Organizational Structure of Regional Offices and Technical Implementation Units of the West Java Provincial Government, along with its amendments.
There has been a change in nomenclature. Through West Java Governor Regulation Number 30 of 2022 concerning the Establishment and Organizational Structure of Regional Offices, Regional Technical Implementation Units, and Special Organizational Units within the Regional Government of West Java Province, BLUD RSKK is now designated as a Special Organizational Unit (UOBK).
